Circa 2010, I discovered a makeup hoarding obsession with my first purchase at Sephora. Ever since, I have been stockpiling makeup and skincare products.

Being a student, I am always looking to maximize the benefits of quality products at low prices. It was difficult to find reviews for products that aren’t very well known, though. I just want to add my two cents to the multitude of reviews out there, especially for things that I think have been overlooked and under-appreciated.

By all means, I’m no self-proclaiming expert. I’m too lazy to get up in time to put makeup on before I leave the house, and oftentimes forget to stick to my skincare routine. However, I have found that even the most elusive scrap of information can be useful when it comes to researching products that I want to buy. So I hope I can help others out too.

Another recent addiction I’ve picked up is… online shopping! Browsing for outfits in the comfort of your own home, not having to go to the store to be told that what you want isn’t in stock, avoiding the bitter winter weather, having goodies delivered right to your door  – definitely benefits in my opinion.

Of course,  nothing can ever take away the joy of the shopping experience: trying things on, window shopping, feeling the material, getting free samples… but the convenience of being able to shop online is a blessing. Especially if you don’t have time to go to the mall. Or if what you want isn’t available anywhere within a driving distance (or even within the country).

I try to be very careful with online shopping though, in terms of return policy, shipping details, and of course, overall trustworthiness of the website. Another thing I’d like to share – in terms of experience and quality of goods.

And of course, there will be lots of other blogging – life, love, and the world – sharing my thoughts. After all, that’s what a blog is for, right?
