I have always been a bit of an introvert who enjoys her solitude and privacy. My conservative nature and expressionless facade in front of strangers often make me seem a bit cold, but in truth, I love to laugh and hold those I cherish close. I am constantly reliving moments of my childhood – I have watched (and re-watched) most Disney movies, prefer cartoons and wildlife documentaries over sitcoms, and half my bed is covered with a lifetime of accumulated stuffed animals.
I consider myself quite the nerd. I enjoy watching anime, reading manga, and playing video games. I also never seem to have enough time – the classic symptom of a procrastinator.
I also know when the narwhal bacons.
I am a strong believer of reciprocity and an admirer of generous hearts and a strong sense of righteousness.
My family is of utmost importance to me and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. My sister and I are often at odds, but I chalk it up to the age difference between us and our different interests. I am waiting for the day when she is mature enough to be my greatest confidante.
I can’t sit still when there’s a football waiting to be tossed around, or a basketball to be dribbled. Badminton is my favourite sport, and I think my dad is the best doubles partner. I am back on the court after a 2-year break from my 3rd dislocation.
I am a Hong Kong-born Canadian, and proud of it.
My boyfriend treats me like a princess – for 5.5 years and counting. I will refer to him by the alias “Dark”, which stems from the fact that until he met me and I re-vamped his wardrobe, it had consisted mostly of black t-shirts with a pair of jeans slapped on.
To be honest though, referring to him by an alias does seem kind of silly… Probably even more so to our friends.
I miss my long hair.
My shy and reclusive nature along with my habitual privacy has always made it hard for me to keep personal blogs and broadcast videos, so it is with a leap of courage that I venture into the world of blogging.
Oh, and I love to draw, but I hardly ever have time for it. I did want something a touch more personal in the header though. So I will have to come up with something when I get the chance.
