What removing false lashes always reminds me of

Ever watch Disney’s The Rescuers? Every time I see my sister take (peel) off her false lashes after a ballet performance, I get reminded of the villain Madame Medusa:

But that’s just me.

  1. How Cute! I didn’t remember that movie clip thanks for sharing!

  2. Hahaha. Hey, she should use a makeup remover. You’re not supposed to do something so rough to your lids lol

  3. OMG, you just reminded me of this one time I was SUPER tired, fell asleep with my eyelashes on, woke up the next morning, saw a set of eyelashes on my pillow but freaked out at first because I thought they were spiders. Hahaha. Falsies are freaky.

  4. rofl. damn this pic is creepy….. seriously scary. I’ve never worn false lashes simple coz i don’t think glue and eyes should go together.

    • Nor do I – I’m afraid of pulling out my own lashes with the glue, too haha. And I’ve never really had an occasion to merit trying them, either.

      • well then i’d stay away from eyelash curlers too… i once pulled out the eyelashes of my right eye with one because my elbow slipped of the table edge.

      • Ouch! Your eyelashes did grow back though, right? I don’t tend to prop my arm up when I’m doing makeup, I have pretty free movement… so unless someone breaks my door down and tackles me from behind before I have a chance to get the curler away from my eye, I’m in less danger lol. But now I’ll be extra careful!
