Oh, admit it already. Cute things make us blabber nonsensically. Well, I definitely talk to Miko in a baby voice every time I see her. That includes every time I go out and walk back in the front door and she comes to greet me.
With this face to greet me at the door? Cue inanity.
“Hiiiiiii Miiiikoooooooooo! Who’s my good giiiiirl? Aren’t you a good girl? Who’s a pretty pretty pretty face? Such a pretty girl, Miko! Were you good today? Hmmmm? You’re so pretty, yes you are. Yeeees you are! Good giiiiiiirl!”
It’s not until after each crazy one-sided conversation that I look up to check if anyone’s within hearing vicinity. And there usually is someone hiding a smile behind an upheld hand. I’m sure all my roommates have heard me baby Miko a million times already. If I heard me, I’d think I was insane, too.
That’s right. Human mind control without twitching a whisker. I’m that good.
The first image is Miko at about 7 months old. The second is at 2 years and 2 months. I’d upgraded from a 2.5 to an 8.0 megapixel camera phone since then, haha.
