"Why then the world's mine oyster, which I with sword will open."

Surgery-free? Respect!

Just want to say kudos to these lovely actresses who refuse to jump on the plastic surgery bandwagon and want to age gracefully! Naturally beautiful 🙂

Kate Winslet (36): “I am an actress, I don’t want to freeze the expressions on my face.”

Eva Longoria (36): “God blessed me with some great, unique features – some beautiful, in my eyes, and some not so beautiful. But I think we are all created this way for a reason, so I have no desire to tamper with that.”

Cate Blanchett (42): “All I see when they have brushed their years away with surgery is self-obsession and fear…. That’s not particularly attractive.”

Halle Berry (45): “You have this plastic, very much copy-cat sort of face that’s evolving, and that’s very frightening to me.”

Emma Thompson (52): “We’re in this awful youth-driven thing now where everybody needs to look 30 at 60. I’m not fiddling about with myself.”

Diane Keaton (65): “I want to express my age and be authentic. Why do so many people follow somebody else’s idea of what is attractive?”

  1. These ladies are true beauties. And I totally agree with what Diane Keaton said, “Why do so many people follow somebody else’s idea of what is attractive?” Right on!

    • I’m amazed that Halle Berry is in her mid-40’s… she certainly doesn’t look it! Parents tell their kids to “act their age” but it seems like some adults need to hear it too. Too many people are emptying their pockets for plastic surgery and trying to act younger than they really are.
